MoreMy parents are in love with this place. They get the chicken franchise and it is so awesome good. I got the spicy crab pasta dish, very good. It is pricey but it is oh so good. Steak melts in your mouth. The chicken francaise is out of this world good. Yum yum yum
MoreEaten there roughly 10 times in my life and always good to excellent. Food is usually a 4 or 5 on a 5 scale and service is a 4 to a 5 too. Prices are good for what you get, not too pricey, but not cheap and I feel a good value. This gets a 5 star from me and the best in the area to eat at. Dress is casual to a bit dressy, just don't go too casual as it will not fly well. Well done to the owners for a nice place.

The drinks from the bar were fabulous, the food not so much. The salad was watery and should have been dried a little more. The clams and spaghetti had absolutely no flavor at all, it was basically butter with some clam juice. Considering how inexpensive pasta is there was very little given as a portion and it looked more like a side dish then a meal.
MoreI grew up coming to the Maplewood and I love how my children are able to experience it now, as well. Some of the staff may have changed but their food is still delicious. My husband and I came for my birthday and were blown away by the hospitality of this restaurant.

I just visited the restaurant on a recommendation from the hotel I'm staying at this week. OMG!!! The food was amazing. The waitress was attentive but not overly so. Enough food to have a meal the next day. The atmosphere was delightful. I highly recommend this restaurant of your ever in the area.

MoreI went to Espositos at 6 on a Thursday, there weren't many people there. Inside it is dingy, dark, and the tables are so close to each other, you're basically all eating together. The menu is the same are every standard Italian place ever recorded, but without the lighter options. Everything is deep fried or has a million pounds of pasta. I thought I at least would be happy with the appetizer salad, but instead it came so drowned in pickled salad peppers, it didn't even need dressing. It was a disgusting, sour mess. All that I ended up eating was the bread that they clearly just pulled out of the plastic wrapper they bought it in as it tasted very clearly of plastic.

MoreI treated my friend to dinner and paid $61.00 for basically bread. Both meals apparently were cooked without salt..because there was no flavor to either entree. I asked for angel hair pasta and received cold linguini. I do not blame the waiter he was attentive and very nice. However..there were workers behind the counter..not sure what their job function was other to stand around and talk and laugh very loudly to the point it was hard to hold a conversation with my friend sitting across from me. It’s sad because I used to love the Maplewood but it’s not worth the price for the food or atmosphere.

MoreBeen dining at Maplewood for over 40 yrs love it, was disappointed when they closed, so been waiting for them to open or do takeout, so today only a few days after they started takeout we ordered, very disappointed!!! The entree seemed like it had been sitting awhile, we were told hour, we arrived early, then when we got home the bag only contained the entrees no salad, one of our favorite things, soooo think we’ll wait til they open for indoor dining!i did call to tell them so they check their bags before taking them to customers, I was told if I wanted to make another trip out I could get salad and free dessert, to me not acceptable! I’ll wait til reopening!!!

It's been a few years and my wife wanted to try again because there's not much to choose from in Vineland anymore. So we went and had Brian serve us that evening, and he was really great! The food was good, the dessert was bad. The prices are high for what you get. But as i said not much in quality to choose from. The rest of the servers are still sub-standard but hopefully they will pick it up to improve. In fact, most there act like they're doing you a favor to acknowledge you. I served at restaurants for years, and know how it's supposed to be when you pay $80+ per couple to dine out
